GL 4th / Home Depot 750 Panorama Trail South / 21-171277

On 10-18-21 at 1331 hours 2 suspects stole various extension cords and construction wire ($3324.98).  As a result of the distribution of photographs one of the two suspects was positively identified as Stephen P. LaVilla.  LaVilla was arraigned and remanded no bail/no release.  Investigation continuing.

PL / YMCA Way / 21-176557

Victim reports that on 10/20/21 she was taken to the hospital for one day. Upon her return she found that roughly 15 packages of Suboxone was missing from her night stand. She states her apartment door was locked, no one has keys to her apartment, there was no sign of any forced entry and there were no camera's that overlook the apartment.

PL / Home Depot 750 Panorama Trail South / 21-172582

On 10-20-21 at 1440 hours Two males S1 -  W, 6'0 180 lbs, 40-50 yoa.  S2 – W, 6'2 210 lbs, 30-40 yoa entered Home Depot and selected property, they then went to the returns desk and returned the items for $278.62 cash.  They then stole two Mikita circular saws ($258) and left the store.  Suspects left in a grey Toyota Frontier but left the saws behind (security approached them and they left the property behind).

Suspicious Condition / Penfield High School 25 High School Dr / 21-176357

PHS student took a photo of an airsoft gun in August 2021 when he was in Virginia.  The photo was subsequently sent to another student via snapchat.  The photo was resent to other students.  A false rumor circulated that a threat was associated with the gun.  MCSO did an in-depth, thorough and complete investigation where it was determined that no threat was ever made or implied.


CM 3rd, Menacing 2nd and 3rd / O’Connor Rd Boces 41 OConnor Rd / 21-173225 and 21-173140

On 10-21-21 at 1028 hours, a juvenile suspect threatened and chased school staff.  He discharged two fire extinguishers and broke a window with one of the fire extinguishers.  Deputies were able to respond quickly and detain the student with no altercation.  The juvenile also made threats toward the staff about having his boys and him come back and shoot them.  Juvenile was processed at the zone and released on an appearance ticket. 


Catalytic Converter Theft / Monroe Ave / 21-174111

The victim’s vehicle was parked in a public parking lot between 1430-1500 HRS on 10/22/21. Unknown suspect(s) cut the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle.

PL / ACE Hardware 3400 Monroe Ave / 21-174713

On 10/23/21 at 1435 hours a male stole a Husqvarna 20" chainsaw valued at $579.00. Suspect entered the rear passenger door of an unknown crossover style vehicle as the vehicle fled the scene
