Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced a partnership with the Genesee Country Village & Museum to celebrate the county’s Bicentennial on Sept. 25 and 26.

“This year, we celebrate our past and honor the hardworking women and men who built the great county we know today,” said County Executive Bello. “There is no better place to see first- hand how our forebears lived, worked and played than the Genesee Country Village & Museum. I am grateful to the museum for their partnership and encourage residents to visit this weekend to learn more about Monroe County’s history and heritage.”

Monroe County Weekend will run Sept. 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During that time, county residents can enjoy special promotions and programs, including:

  • Ten percent off purchases in the Flint Hill Store, and 10% off on new memberships.
